Men and women grow pimples. There is a lot of variation the skin texture due to fluctuation in hormone secretion. The skin becomes thinner, drier, and less supple. This is because, the cell functioning gets slower as the age increases. Chronologically, ageing occurs at same rate for every person. But visibly, we all age at different speed. Acne occurs to men more than women during the teen age. For women it is after the teen age, the skin gets affected. Pregnancy profoundly affects the skin. Increased secretion of oestrogen prevents the lubricating glands from functioning normally. This happens especially during the first five months. This makes the skin look drier. But during the latter period of the pregnancy, upswing of progesterone causes the skin look oily. Pregnancy marks are also a disturbing factor. There are many ways through which these problems can be overcome. The proper practise of such techniques will help you look younger!!

MAKE YOUR SKIN LUMINOUS THROUGH STEAMING

The next step is to steam your skin. Steaming has been a traditional technique to preserve the freshness and the texture of the skin. Steaming removes the dirt and impurities. It also removes some of the natural oil from the skin. So, it should be kept in mind that, in the long run, steaming will result in dry skin. So, the time limit for exposing the skin to the steam and the frequency of steaming should be selected very carefully. Especially for a dry and ageing skin, steaming should not prolong for more than 2 minutes. It should be done once in a month. For oily skin, steaming can be done once in a week and the duration of exposure should be 5 minutes. It is better to prefer herbal steaming than the chemical steaming. Dry herbs like lavender, rosemary, chamomile etc.., should be boiled in water. After removing the heat source, it should be allowed to steam for few minutes. Immediately after steaming, face must be rinsed with cold water. Try this out and see your skin turning younger!!
